Sorry about that
Checked in and found several submissions had expired. Didn't realize it had been a couple of weeks since I had checked in. I went through each and requested them for the group and fixed my settings so new submissions don't expire for a month. I hope to still check in at least once a week but in case continues to find ways to complicate things again, there won't be any jarring "expired"s anywhere!

Applications for a new Contest Administrator
Interest still exists for doing contests around here! In fact, enthusiasm on the part of members doesn't tend to be a problem; it tends to be a problem for the club founders. I find I enjoy contests much better when I don't have to run them!
So would anyone be interested in helping out by becoming a Contest Administrator? You wouldn't have to deal with anything else, and can do contests however you want (within reason, I guess).

Slavery has plagues the Twi'lek culture until they barely have anything else of a culture left. But slavery has never conquered their spirit! When freed they become strong and determined to succeed. Unfortunately, many who never lived that life take for granted the freedom the was hard earned by others, and worse yet, have consigned their own people to the miserable fate.

Coming in late with my two cents:
1. I can understand people really disliking the whole kinky bondage and enslavement thing. Even if I'm not one of those people. (Just look at my gallery...) So I'll Not-Suggest any contest along those lines. It even might be a good idea to have a separate "Slaves and Captives" folder, so that those who hate that sort of thing can more easily avoid it, and those who like that sort of thing more easily find it.
2. My vote would be for alternate-universe and crossover twi'leks, with a number of possible sub-categories:
- Star Trek Twi'leks (e.g. in a Starfleet uniform).
- Lord of the Rings. Twi'lek versions of humans, elves, dwarves & hobbits.
- Generic-Medieval-Fantasy Twi'leks. Twi'leks instead of elves in a "no elves!" fantasy world.
- Comicbook Superhero Twi'leks - a twi'lek Green Lantern, X-man, etc.
- Twi'leks instead of Tenctonese as the "Newcomers" in an Alien Nation variant.
- Martians turning out to be twi'leks, or twi'leks as generic UFO aliens.
- Tarzan and a Lost Twi'lek Civilization, in Darkest Africa.
- An alternate universe where the New World is inhabited by twi'leks instead of humans. Twi'lek indians. Tonto as a twi'lek.
- Or reverse that; the Old World is inhabited by twi'leks, and Native Americans are the only humans on Earth. The Lone Ranger as a twi'lek.
- Battlestar Twi'lekticia. Twi'leks fighting a desperate battle for survival against the evil Droidons
- Twi'lek Lensmen (the book version, not the unspeakable anime) for us real old-timers. QX!

- And I shouldn't forget Dr. Who: Daleks invading Ryloth, with the twi'leks putting up a desperate defense when the Doctor arrives. A twi'lek becoming a companion of the Doctor.
